General information on "Residence times for billing documents" is available in the standard documentation.
The IPMI and IPMO IPM billing applications do not use the residence time as the sole criteria for determining the archivability of a billing document. If one of the features is used for a specific processing logic (clearing control, difference calculation, accruals, ...), additional checks must also be performed before a billing document can be archived.
