CRM_IPM_COND_COMM_VT - BAdI for Additional Quantity-Type Fields in Pricing

Pricing in the license sales contract and during outgoing royalties settlement can involve quantity-dependent conditions, in which the quantity from a data value is transferred to pricing. (To do so, the pricing procedure used during pricing must be entered for the data value in the "Usage as a price quantity" field). However, this only allows one quantity to be transferred to pricing; this is entered in the MGAME field and the quantity unit in VRKME in the communication structure.

If you want to use additional quantities from other data values during pricing, you must implement the ITEM_COMMUNICATION_STRUCTURE method for this BAdI, to enter the quantity IV_QUANTITY in a different "quantity-type" field in the CS_ITEM_COM communication structure (and also in the IV_QUANTITY_UNIT quantity unit if necessary.) Each implementation is only valid for specific data values and pricing procedures. You must specify the combinations required as filter values for the implementation.

You can for example enter an additional quantity for net weight in the CS_ITEM_COM-NTGEW field. The system will then use this quantity to calculate a condition type, which contains the "net weight" calculation type. Similarly, the CS_ITEM_COM-BRGEW field corresponds to the "gross weight" calculation type. This enables you to enter different data values in different fields, which are then used by different condition types.

In addition to the "net weight" calculation types etc, scales with the "net weight" scale base type etc are also available. You can therefore also use several quantity-dependent scales during pricing, which obtain their scale basis from various "quantity-type" fields.
