CRM_IPM_CONTRACTS_FO - BAdI: Checks for Cross-Contract Advances
ROGBILLS - Synchronize billing plans PERFORM Short ReferenceThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
This Business Add-In (BAdI) belongs to enhancement spot CRM_IPM_CONTRACTS_FOR_XING. You can use this BAdI to perform checks for cross-contract advances in license acquisition contracts. In addition, the BAdI allows you to prioritize the advance references to be assigned to a royalties item.
You have selected the Cross-Contract Advancecheckboxfor the transaction type in the Customizing activity Define Transaction Types.
If you require additional checks, such as to determine whether a contract is eligible for cross-contract advances, you must create an implementation and implement the methods of the interface IF_EX_CRM_IPM_CONTR_FOR_XING.
- In Customizing, you have made the settings so that a transaction type is eligible for cross-contract advances. However, you also have a customer-specific field in the contract header that determines whether the contract can be used for cross-contract advances. You can use this BAdI to perform this additional check.
- You want to specify that only new contracts are eligible for cross-contract advances. You have both new and existing contracts with the same transaction type. You can use this BAdI to specify that contracts created before a certain date are not eligible for cross-contract advances.
- When creating a cross reference between a royalties item and an advance item, the system uses a predefined rule to prioritize the advance items that are proposed. You want to generate a rule so that the advance items that belong to the same IP as the royalties item are recouped before the other cross-contract advance items. This BAdI allows you to create a rule so that the system proposes the advance items in the order that suits your business needs.
