CRM_IPM_IP_CUSTMSG - Define Characteristics of IPM IP Check Messages

In this IMG activity, you can determine the message type for certain system messages in Products specifically for a user. You can specify whether the user should receive:

• An information message

• A warning message

• An error message

• No message

Not every setting should be used for each message. The following information is therefore specified in the system:

• The messages for which you can change the type

• The types allowed for a particular message

You can display a list of the messages that can be changed and their valid types using the Possible Entries pushbutton in the MESSAGE CONTROL BY USER table.

The standard setting for all check system messages for the rights (for example, CRM_IPM_IP_CUSTMSG006) are error messages.

To specify a different type of message to the standard setting for a specific user, enter the message, the user, and the type in the table.

To specify a different type of message to the standard setting for all users, enter the message and type in the table and leave the User name column blank.
