CRM_IPM_IP_ID_GENER - BAdI: Determine Attribute Values During IP Generation

You use this business add-in (BAdI) to specify the values of single-value attributes of generated intellectual properties (with the exception of the base category attribute), during the intellectual property (IP) mass generation procedure.
If you do not use this BAdI, attribute values of generated IPs will be copied from the the template IP instead (except for the IP ID, which will default to a standard range defined by the system).
This BAdI is designed for single use - you can have only one activated implementation.
The standard system does not contain an active BAdI implementation. If you do not create an active implementation yourself, the system calls and executes a fallback implementation, which is an empty implementation that doesn't do anything, and thus does not affect the default behavior of the system.

When a new IP is generated using the IP mass generation procedure, the system normally assigns a number as the ID and assigns the description of the template IP as the description of the new IP.
You can create a BAdI implementation that instructs the system to assign an alphanumeric string as the IP ID (for example ID_01, ID_02, ID_03) or instructs the system to assign a specific description as the IP description (for example, "Episode 1", "Episode 2", "Episode 3")
