You can make entries in a specific field in the interface to the billing due list (/1BEA/S_IPM*_DLI_COM structure) in the FILL_DATA_COMPONENT method for this BAdI using data from a OneOrder item. The field in which the entry is to be made must be typed by a data element, which only appears once in the /1BEA/S_IPM*_DLI_COM structure. This data element is used as the filter value for an implementation of this BAdI in conjunction with the IPMI or IPMO Billing Engine application and the DLI container name. (You can only currently use the DLI container).

During access of the implementation for a specific data element, the field in which the entry is to be made is transferred to the CV_DLI_COMP changing parameter. CV_DLI_COMP therefore always has the data element from the filter value for the implementation as the type. Data in the OneOrder item is transferred as an import parameter.

An implementation is only executed when the billing due list is entered in the Billing Engine applications that are specified in the filter values. It is not executed in derived applications. These derived applications may have to be specfied as filter values with the higher-level applications if necessary (e.g. IPMI and IPMO).

The system generates an instance of the implementation for each filter value (Billing Engine application and data element), which is used for all OneOrder items.

This means that entries can be made in fields that have been included as attributes of customer-specific features in the Billing Engine application using OneOrder data without the need for modifications.
