In this Customizing activity, you can define the maximum number of entries for the cache table of a reporting application. In addition, you can define the number of entries to be deleted when the maximum number of entries for a cache table is reached.

This setting applies only to header cache tables. If a reporting application has both header and item cache tables, then the number of item cache table entries can exceed the maximum number of entries defined for the header table. However, item cache tables can only contain entries that correspond to header cache table entries. This allows you to control the number of item cache table entries by the maximum number of header cache table entries.

1. Select the cache of a reporting application and choose Details.

Note that each reporting application corresponds to the DataSource used for the interactive reporting except for PPM_OPP_RESULT_HEADER_ITEM, which is used by Pipeline Performance Management (PPM).

1. Enter the maximum number of entries.
2. Enter the number of entries to be deleted when the maximum number of entries is reached.
