In this Customizing activity, you can populate the cache tables of reporting applications to improve the performance of interactive reporting and Pipeline Performance Management (PPM). In particular, population of cache tables is recommended for managers using interactive reporting.

You populate a cache table by defining a query for a reporting application.

1. Select the reporting application for which you want to populate the cache table.
2. Enter the data required to define the query.

Regarding the Partner Data you enter, note the following:

• Specify all business partners assigned to the manager who executes the interactive reporting.

• For all reporting applications except Opportunities Pipeline Performance Management, you can enter Sales Representative (00000012) and Employee Responsible (00000014) for the partner function.

• Scheduling the run of such queries regularly ensures the cache tables are populated with current data.
