In this IMG activity, you define the business partner roles that should be available in the company search of Web-based User Management.

When creating an Internet user in Web-based User Management, assign a company to the user. In earlier releases the company search was based on the business partner role settings that you maintained in the Customizing activity Set Up Web-based User Management. Now you can search for companies with different business partner roles and assign them to users, by entering the different roles in this activity.

You have stored business partner roles in Customizing under Cross-Application Components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Basic Settings -> Business Partner Roles.
