The partner channel management functions in SAP Customer Relationship Management use the user administration of CRM Web Channel.

Not only the channel manager, but also the partner manager can create users in the SAP NetWeaver Portal. The channel manager creates users for partners, while the partner manager creates additional users for employees of the partner account.

When you use the user administration of CRM Web Channel, the system not only creates a user in the CRM system; it also updates the Portal's user administration.

A number of settings are required to ensure that the Portal's user administration is updated.
