CRM_ISA_VEHICLE - BAdI: Vehicle-Related Categories in Vehicle Life-Cycle Info

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Automotive (CRM-IA) component.

You can use this BAdI for vehicle-specific settings that are required only by the People-Centric User Interface (BSP UI) of the Vehicle Life-Cycle Info.

This BAdI contains the following methods:

• ALIAS_SEARCH
  Searches for vehicles using alternative IDs.

• GET_IOBJECT_REF_PROD
  Determines the reference product for the vehicle.

• GET_BSP_SCREEN_VARIANTS
  Determines the screen variants for the categories used.

• GET_ACE_PARTNER_FUNCTION
  Returns the partner function needed for authorization checks. This is used during role maintenance for access control entry (ACE).

• CREATE_PARTNER_RELATIONSHIP
  Creates a partner relationship of the type Sales Dealer between the newly-created vehicle and the dealership.

The BAdI must be activated so that the BSP UI works properly. If you use the vehicle categories that are shipped as standard, you do not need to modify this BAdI. If you define new categories or alternative IDs, you must include these in methods GET_BSP_SCREEN_VARIANTS and ALIAS_SEARCH respectively.
