CRM_IU_DSM_ARCHIVING - Define Residence Time for Archiving Applications and Agreements

In this Customizing activity, you define the residence time that an application or agreement must remain in the system before you are able to archive it.

The status must be as follows:

Application

• Cancelled

• Agreement Created

Agreement

• Finished

• Cancelled

Typically, you specify a residence time for each transaction type to be archived. The following table lists the standard transaction types:

Object	Standard Transaction Type
Application	IUAP
Agreement	IUAR

If there is no transaction type, the residence time for the wildcard "*" is used.

Agreement

1. Specify the number of days the application or agreement must remain in the system before it can be archived.
2. Use transaction Archive Administration to execute the archiving run, specifying one of the following archiving objects:

• CRM_DSMAPL for applications

• CRM_DSMAGR for agreements

Agreement

The residence time is 365 days. You change an application or agreement on March 1, 2020, which means that you can only archive it as of March 1, 2021.
