In Demand Side Management, if you assign a one-time payment or milestone payments, a billing plan type must be assigned to the item category of the incentive belonging to the DSM agreement in the Assign Billing Plan Type to Item Categoryactivity. Two billing plan types are provided in the standard delivery:

• 76: Milestone billing

• 75: One-time payment billing

The billing plan in DSM is used to determine whether the program administrator should issue a payment as an one- time payment or as milestone payments .

Flow categories DSM1 and DSM2 are defined in Maintain Flowtypeswith the same name as the item category usage. In order to use the DSM logic, you must use these flow categories when creating your own billing plan type.
