This Business Add-In (BAdI) allows you to connect additional functionality for key figure planning in SAP CRM.

The BAdI provides the following three methods:

  • PREPARE_XML
The system uses XML to provide information to the Business Planning and Simulation (BPS) planning tool in SAP NetWeaver. XML is used to convert DHTML and protect cells.
This method allows you to send additional information to BPS, for example, so that you can hide budget information for a particular user.
  • GENERATE_CONDITION
This method applies to Trade Promotion Management and Account Planning only.
The method applies to Volumes/Trade Spends, and enables you to define the way in which conditions are generated. For example, you can define whether you use the net list price or the gross list price when you generate a price list.
  • IS_READY_FOR_DISPLAY
This method enables you to define the validation that is carried out before the planning layouts are displayed, so before you can enter your planning data. It enables you to do checks, such as:
  • Are users authorized to see the data?

  • Is the information complete?

  • Have dates been entered correctly?
