In this activity, you can define which rules you wish to use for finding your lead questionnaires. You can determine which questionnaire should be found in a given time period for a particular transaction type and item category. To further refine determination, there is an additional step in which you can define additional determination criteria and group these together.

You have defined a questionnaire.

If you want to work with additional determination criteria, you must have entered these in the activity Define Determination Criteria for Questionnaires.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter an ID and a description for determination.
  3. Choose the transaction type and item category.
  4. Enter a validity period for determination.
  5. Choose the survey for which you wish to carry out determination.
  6. Set the indicators Mandatory and Active to specify whether the survey is to be completed or whether the determination rule is to be active. Remember that the Mandatory indicator is only evaluated when the document is saved. When saving the document, the system checks whether a survey has been found with the Mandatory indicator, but has not yet been filled out. In this case, the system creates an error message.
  7. Save your entries.

You have defined the following:

Determination: ABC

Valid from: January 1 2018

Valid to: June 30 2018

Transaction type:

Questionnaire ID: LEAD_QUESTIONNAIRE_1

Active: X

and

Determination: DEF

Valid from:January 1 2018

Valid to: June 30 2018

Transaction type: LEAD

Survey: LEAD_QUESTIONNAIRE_2

Active: X

The questionnaire LEAD_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 is now found for all leads irrespective of the transaction type. If leads have the transaction type LEAD, both questionnaire LEAD_QUESTIONNAIRE_1 and also LEAD_QUESTIONNAIRE_2 are found.
