CRM_LEAS_ASSIGN_COND - Define Determination of Scale Basis

In this IMG activity, you define those date-based or duration-based fields of the communication structure for pricing, which are used to fill, per condition function and/or condition type, the scale base value in scale basis formula 4000, dependent on the

• Application (usually CRM)

• Pricing process

• Sales organization

Within pricing, the system then fills the scale base value of a condition type, for which a date-based or duration-based scale was defined in Customizing, with the date (time stamp) or duration contained in the assigned field of the communication structure.

• For the condition type, you have to have defined a scale with base value TC1 (time stamp) or M, N, O, P (month, year, day, week).

• You have to enter scale basis formula 4000 in the Scales group box in the condition type.

1. Assign date types or durations to the fields of the item communication structure of pricing.
2. Define the application, the sales organization, the pricing process, and the condition function and/or condition type. Assign a field of the communication structure for the date type, or a field of the communication structure for the duration and a field for the duration unit.
3. Make sure that the following is true for the condition type (assigned either directly or indirectly by means of the condition function in Customizing for condition types) that you use:
1. That it has a scale defined with scale base type TC1 (time stamp) or a scale base type M, N, O, P (month, year, day, week)
2. That scale basis formula (Java) 4000 is entered
