In this IMG activity, you define the details for object list processing for the change processes that you have defined as being relevant for object lists in the settings of IMG activity Configure Settings for Change Processes.

You have flagged the respective change process as relevant for object lists - that is, you have set the Object List Processing flag - in IMG activity Configure Settings for Change Processes.

This IMG activity is divided into two hierarchical steps:

You define the basic settings for object list processing in the upper level.

ObjList, parent
In general, the object list processing screen contains two object lists:

Object list 1 on the left-hand side generally contains the objects that belong to the financial item selected in the change process (indirectly, through the physical, serial number-specific items that belong to the financial item).

Object list 2 on the right-hand side may represent a second, independent object list. This is the case for change process SWAP ( Asset Swap for Error Correction), for example, in which an additional contract is selected whose corresponding objects are displayed in object list 2.

Alternatively, object list 2 can also be "dependent" on list 1. This is the case for the change processes that represent the insurance cases, for example: Early Termination due to Insurance Claim (INTE), Early Buyout due to Insurance Claim (INBY), and Insurance Rollover Financing (INRL). In these cases, object list 2 serves as a container for the objects from object list 1 that have been damaged and are therefore the object of a contract change.

You specify the dependency of the object list in the Parent field.

Init.
The "INIT" flag indicates whether or not an object list can be "initialized" - filed with object data - at the start of processing. This is always the case for object list 1, because the data is clearly defined based on the previously selected contract item. This is also generally the case when object list 2 is a dependent list. For change process SWAP, however, in which object list 2 represents a second contract that has to be selected, initialization has to wait until the contract is selected.

Object list initialization option
The object list initialization option characterizes which data (and how much) is loaded into the object list.

In the second level, you define the permitted processing actions for a given change process and object list. This controls whether or not you can drag an object from one object list to another, delete an object from a list, or add new objects to a list.
