You use this IMG activity to configure the financial-mathematical installment calculation procedure, which is the central element in financial mathematics Customizing and controls the calculations for financing items.

To enter the installment calculation procedure as an attribute in the financing product, assign it to the desired sales organization.

When you assign the procedure to the sales organization, you also assign the installment calculation profile, along with any simulation method.

The settings in the installment calculation profile control, among other things, which calculation methods are used, how the different financing views are handled during installment calculation, balance settlement, and the usage of interim days.

Configure the following settings:

  1. BAdI: Create Filter for Installment Calculation Procedure
  2. BAdI: Define Effective Interest Procedure
  3. BAdI: Define Payment Schedule Generation Method
  4. Create Installment Calculation Procedure
  5. Create Financing Views in Installment Calculation
  6. Properties of the Installment Calculation Procedure
  7. Define Installment Calculation Profile
  8. Assign installment calculation procedure to distribution chain
