CRM_MI_EMAIL - Activate Notification via E-Mail

At user level, you can make settings so that your agents will be automatically notified via e-mail (Microsoft Outlook, for example) of new work items.

You must store an e-mail address to which this notification should be sent. You can do so in one of the following ways:

• In the user master record, enter an e-mail address in the address data.

• In the Business Workplace, choose Settings → Office Settings and enter an e-mail address on tab page Automatic Forwarding.

Start the CRM_MIWF_WI_MAILNOTIF program. On the selection screen, specify the system users and tasks for which the program should be executed. Save the selection screen as a variant.

Use transaction SM36 to create a job that executes the desired variant of the report in the background.

Ensure that sending messages to external e-mail addresses is activated in your system.
