This BAdI is used in the Insights Management component (CRM-MKT-ISM). It enables you to determine the default business partner that is assigned as Owner to a new Insights Management (ISM) object such as Fact/Observation or Insight.

This BAdI is:

  • Called when when an ISM object is created or changed, but no owner is assigned to the object
  • Required when the partner function for Owner is customized with Minimum = 1 (which means that at least one owner has to be assigned)
  • Optional when the Owner is customized with Minimum < 1
