CRM_MKTPL_ALRULE - Define Customer-Specific Distribution Rules

The Business Add-In CRM_MKTPL_ALRULE enables you to develop customer-specific allocation rules, whenever standard allocation rules do not fully meet business requirements.

To do so, the interface provides one filter-dependent method. This is called in the allocation planning function in CRM whenever an enhancement has been implemented and activated.

NOTE: Whatever the scenario arising through the BADI's methods, CRM is always the leading system: every function is initiated from CRM.

An allocation rule of type EXIT must be defined in Customizing. This allocation rule must be assigned to a product. When generating or simulating an allocation, the ALLOCATE METHOD EXIT is called. You can develop several allocation rules of the type EXIT, each differently implemented. The system automatically detects which implementation to apply by means of the allocation rule ID passed to the method.
