CRM_MKT_ELMCLEANSING - Edit View Variant and Node for Data Cleansing

External list management provides you with a cleansing tool to update existing business partners in the CRM system with data from the external list. To accomplish this, external list management uses the reconciliation framework.

External list management provides:

• An application object ELM to use the reconciliation framework. This object is defined in Customizing for Business Data Toolset (BDT)

• Standard data objects to update business partners. These objects include central data, address data, communication data, contact partner function, and relationship data.

You must maintain Customizing for data cleansing before you can create cleansing cases for external lists. For more information, see Customizing for Cross-Application Components and choose SAP Business Partner -→ Data Cleansing.

1. Create or edit objects or nodes to be used in the cleansing tool.
2. You can implement your own classes to handle business logic and to assign them to the created or edited nodes. To do this, choose Object Where-Used List: Create/Edit Structure.
3. Edit the view variant Clearing. Only those nodes placed under Clearing are available in the cleansing tool. To edit, choose Where-Used List: Views: Overview and then go to the view variant Clearing.
