In this Customizing activity, you define scores for interaction objects.

A score is an attribute in the interaction object that is used to show the value of a marketing prospect´s interaction with your company. In the WebClient UI, the scores for each interaction are added to the qualification score in the marketing prospect header. You can use this information to decide whether a marketing prospect is qualified to be converted to a business partner.

Mass Conversion of Marketing Prospects
You can use the program CRM_MKTHV_CONVERT_MP_TO_BP to perform a mass conversion of all marketing prospects to business partners (accounts and contacts) when prospects have reached a particular qualification score (Enter program).

To ensure that scores are created for high-volume campaign execution, you have to activate the Create IO setting in Customizing under Define Communication Medium -> Define High Volume Communication Medium.

The interaction object category Campaign Executionalready supports the creation of scores. You must perform the implementation required for all other categories.

A campaign invites marketing prospects to click the link of a special promotion offered, or to download a detailed information brochure. You can value these different types of responses as follows:

IO Category Score
Link Tracking 10
Download 20

You rate downloading the brochure as a greater indicator of marketing prospect interest than clicking the special promotion. This is reflected by the different scores that are created with the interaction objects.
