CRM_MY_ACCOUNTS_APP - Define Settings for Business Partner OData Services

In this activity, you define the following settings for business partner OData services:

• Text type that is used for notes in the My Contacts app

If you do not define a text type, text type 0001 Correspondenceis used as the default.

• Currency in which opportunities and revenue are displayed in the My Accounts app

You specify a currency for the entire app, not for each account.

Note: If the standard user parameter for currency (FWS) is set, the currency used is always that of the user parameter. If the user parameter is not set, the currency used is the currency defined in this Customizing activity. If neither is set, the default currency used is USD.

You can also make the following settings to optimize performance:

• No Filtering of Employees in Search(applies to My Accountsapp only)

Select this checkbox if you want to optimize performance by including employees found by the search in the search results list. If you want employees to be excluded from the search result list, this can have a negative effect on performance.

• No Formatting of Names (applies to My Accounts and My Contacts app)

Select this checkbox if you want to optimize performance by not displaying account, contact, or employee names as they are defined in international address versions in the business partner master data.

If you select this checkbox, no address data needs to be read. The name fields are concatenated for display as follows:

• Name 1and Name 2 for corporate accounts and groups

• First Name and Last Namefor individual accounts, contacts, and employees

The academic title is not displayed.

If you do not select this checkbox, the app checks for international address versions and if there is an address version-specific name, this name is displayed. Or, if a full name is available in the business partner general data, this name is displayed. The academic title is also displayed.

• Use Prefix Search for Names(applies to My Accountsapp only)

Select this checkbox if you want to optimize performance by searching for names that begin with the search string. Searching for names containing a search string anywhere in the account name can have a negative effect on performance.
