CRM_OPPORT_SOURCE - Define Source for Opportunities

You can use 'source' to record in the document the origin of the opportunity. For example, a possible source could be a trade fair or a telephone call. You can then carry out an analysis to determine, for example, how much revenue is generated by trade fairs or by a sales deal. In the case of an external data transfer (for example, a purchased address list) you can enter the name of the external data source here.

In this step you specify the possible orgins, in other words sources, of your opportunities. If you later choose value help for the Source field in the document, the system offers you a choice of the settings made here.
