CRM_ORDER_INDEX_BADI - BAdI: Enhancements for Index Update from Transaction

In this step, you can create enhancements for the index update from the business transaction. The index is mainly used in the business transaction in the locator, for contract data.

The following methods are available in the Business Add-in CRM_ORDER_INDEX_BADI:

• REDUCE_ITEMS: Exclude specific items

You cannot remove necessary items.

The implementation CRM_OIX_BILL_REQUEST (no index for billing request items, billing plan) is available in the standard.

• MODIFY_INDEX: Change entries in index table

The index is structured completely. However, you can set that specific criteria are excluded, for example, that not all partner functions are considered.

In order to be able to use a Business Add-in, an implementation must be generated and the corresponding methods must be programmed.

1. Create an implementation.
2. Assign the BAdI definition to the implementation.
3. Double-click to navigate to one or several methods in the editor, to program the method.
4. Activate the methods.
5. Activate the implementation.
