CRM_OSP_ACTIVITY - Activity Customization Settings

This activity allows you to customize SAP CRM for activity management in Duet. The entered parameters specify details on how to map the client (Microsoft Outlook) to the SAP CRM system.
To define activity customization, click on the activity icon.
- Under Dialog Structure, double-click Transaction Types. The screen lists the transaction type for the object type of BUS2000126 and marked for calendar.
- Double-click Customization Details. Click New Entries to define a new mapping, and enter the following parameters:

| Transaction type | Specifies the transaction type for which the corresponding parameters are defined. |
| Outlook Organizer | Select the parameter in SAP CRM that corresponds to 'activity organizer' in the client (Microsoft Outlook). |
| Outlook Attendee | Select the parameter in SAP CRM that corresponds to 'activity attendee' in the client (Microsoft Outlook). |
| CRM Account | Select the parameter in SAP CRM that corresponds to the 'account' in the client (Microsoft Outlook). |
| CRM Contact | Select the parameter in SAP CRM that corresponds to the 'contact' in the client (Microsoft Outlook). |
| Days Ahead | Specify the latest number of days (after the current date) the activities within which may be replicated in the client. For example, if 10 is entered here, all activities within the next ten days are replicated in the client. |
| Days Behind | Specify the earliest number of days (before the current date) the activities within which may be replicated in the client. For example, if 10 is entered here, all activities within the previous ten days are replicated in the client. |
| Note type | Select the note type in the CRM system that corresponds to the body text of the activity in the client. |
| Status for Completion | Select the parameter in SAP CRM that corresponds to the 'completed' status in the client (Microsoft Office Outlook). These activities are not replicated in the client. |
| Date Set type | Select the date set type for which the above fields Days Ahead and Days Behind are applicable. For example, if you select Planned Date here and enter 10 in the Days Ahead field, all activities within the next 10 planned dates are replicated in the client. (Note: This field is functional only for Duet 1.0 SP4 and higher, and is not applicable for Duet 1.0 SP3 and lower versions of the client, where only Actual Date values are considered.) |
