CRM_PCT_PRDCAT_LOC - Create/Change Catalog Characteristics List and Catalog Item Characteristics

With the Business Add-In PRODCAT_LOC_UPDATE you can be informed of all changes to catalog charcteristic lists and catalog item charcteristics of product catalogs.

The Business Add-In is called up directly before the changes are updated .

In the method CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE the keys (GUIDs and language keys) of the changed characteristic sub-objects are transferred together with the indicator UPDATE_TYPE. This indicator can take on the following values that contain information about :

• I: Creation

• U: Change

• D: Deletion

• Blank: No changes

In detail, the following table parameters are available in this method:

• IT_CHANGED_LISTOFCHAR

This parameter contains information about changed catalog characteristic lists.

• IT_CHANGED_LISTOFCHARNAME

This parameter contains information about changed short texts of the catalog characteristic lists.

• IT_CHANGED_CATALOGITEMCHAR

This parameter contains information about changed catalog item characteristics.

• IT_CHANGED_CATALOGITEMCHARNAME

This parameter contains information about changed short texts of the catalog item characteristics.

Furthermore by implementing a Business Add-In you can use the callback function module COM_PCAT_LOC_CBU_CALLBACK. This function module determines the object data for the keys passed by the method CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE, before and after the changes.
