CRM_PCUI_GEN - Generate Layout for People-Centric UI

In this activity, you can create the layout in the customer namespace for the People-Centric UI for business transaction components that were added using the Easy Enhancement Workbench (EEW). A business transaction component is generated based on the set type defined in the product master and the related attributes.
You carry out each generation for the specified application, blueprint view, and version in the current client. The related views, which are displayed as tab pages that contain the assigned business transaction components, are displayed on the specified tab page group based on the Definition of Profiles. During runtime, only views whose profile is assigned to the current item category are shown on the corresponding tab page group. If the system still has not determined an item category, or the user has not specified one, the views of all existing profiles are hidden.
You can specify whether you want existing field groups to be regenerated. This allows changes to business transaction components for the layout of the People-Centric UI to be transferred.
Note: When you change a set type, you have to restart the wizard in the EEW for the related business transaction component and carry out EEW generation.
After every layout generation, you also have to generate the layout for all field groups that have been processed. To do this, use transaction CRMC_LAYOUTC_GENE for the corresponding view and field group. You can gather from the output log that is displayed after every generation which field groups were created, updated, or deleted, and all other interface elements that were affected.
You have made the Customizing settings for enhancements with the EEW.
