CRM_PNT_UI_010 - Define and Propose Display Variants

In this IMG activity, you define display variants that can either be assigned to the transaction type, the item category, or both.

A display variant consists of a tree variant that represents relationships and a table in which you can enter relationship attributes.

In addition to item relationships, subitems are shown in the form of a relationship and are arranged under item relationships in the tree.

You can make the following settings:

Restrict Start Item Categories
If you list item categories, the system uses the items in the transaction as start items according to the item category.
If you do not list item categories, the system uses all items in the transaction as start items.

Restrict Displayed Relations
If you list relations, the system only displays relations in the transaction according to the relationship type.
If you do not list relations, the system displays all relations in the transaction.

Restrict Displayed Subitems
If you list combinations of item categories and lower-level item categories, the system does not display the subitems.

Item Categories to Be Displayed at All Times
If you list item categories, the system includes these items, provided they have not yet been displayed.

You have defined item relationships or subitems.
