This business add-in (BAdI) is used within the context of the Quota Planning (CRM-ANA-PPM-QP) component.
You use this BAdI to define additional functions for quota planning, specifically, to specify units of measure.
This BAdI contains a single method: GET_REFERENCE_PRODUCT.
You cannot assign units of measure directly to product categories. Instead, you define one or more units of measure for a reference product that is used by the product category in the Quota Planning application.
You can implement the GET_REFERENCE_PRODUCT method to define a reference product for a product category. The reference products must be assigned to a product category belonging to the sales product hierarchy, and they must have at least a base unit of measure.
In the customer implementation, you can define one reference product for all product categories, or you could have the reference product depend on the product category.
Note: Only product categories that belong to the sales product hierarchy are valid while working in the Quota Planning application.
The GET_REFERENCE_PRODUCT method has the following parameters:
- IV_PROD_CAT_GUID
- This import parameter is the GUID of the product category.
- RV_PROD_GUID
- This returning parameter is the GUID of the reference product.
No BAdI implementations are delivered in the standard system.
