Definition of the Copying Type:

Copying types consist of a freely-definable copying routine (see also the activity Routines). In the standard system you have the following copying routines:

  • 1: without contents
  • 2: fixed (cannot be changed in the copy)

You can also influence copying control for absolute amounts:

  • adapt quantities (Attention:adapting for quantities is not currently supported for the sales order)
  • copy

Assigning Copying Type to Source Item Category - Target Item Category:

You can use the field CopyCond to determine the following for conditions:

  • do not copy (redetermine all)

  • copy all

  • copy manually (redetermine the others)

You can use the field Cond.CopyType to assign previously defined copying types.

Attention: only if in the previous step you have chosen copy, do the settings for the copying type become effective.
