CRM_PRMAP_001 - Define Condition Mapping Using Search Strategies

In this Customizing activity, you define the assignment of target and source condition types to different transaction items.
You have assigned the target condition function to the relevant condition function group in the Customizing activity Process Condition Function Groups.
In the relevant pricing procedure in the Customizing activity Create Pricing Procedure, you have assigned the formula 4100 or 4101 as the base formula for the target condition type (with the relevant condition function).
| Formula | Description |
|---|---|
| 4100 | The system does not change any data in the target condition (the condition with the target condition type) if it does not find an entry in the Customizing table or cannot determine the source condition. |
| 4101 | The condition amount and the condition base of the target condition (the condition with the target condition type) receive the default value "zero" if there is no entry in the Customizing table. If there is an entry and the condition amount or condition base is to be determined according to the Customizing settings, the default value "zero" is entered in the corresponding field. |
You have defined search strategies in the Customizing activity Define and Assign Search Strategies.
This example concerns real estate financing using transaction items. The real estate financing consists of a real estate item and a loan item. You enter the real estate value in the condition type Z001 for the real estate items; the system then transfers the value in the condition type Z002 for the loan items.
You must make the following settings:
- In the pricing procedure, enter the base formula 4100 for the calculation type Z002.
- Assign the source condition type Z001 to the target condition type Z002.
