You use this activity to assign product roles to product types.

A product role is used to distinguish between several types of products for product bundling.

The following product roles are delivered with the standard SAP set-up and are assigned to product types:

• Sales package

• Subscription

To assign product roles to product types, carry out the following steps:

1. Select the product type.
2. Assign a product role.

Once you have completed this activity you must assign your products to product types in the product master.
