You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to check whether a partner is admissible in a subscription order with reference to a master agreement or not. Additionally, you can return all admissible partners so that they can be used as an input help in a dropdown box.

The BAdI is also used to determine all partners that are allowed in a sharing contract.

The BAdI uses the partner validation rule as the filter criteria. This information is passed to the BAdI through the master agreement item against which the checks are executed.

You must enter the partner validation rules that you want to use in the Customizing activity Define Partner Validation Rules.

If there is no implementation for a filter criterion, the checks in the fallback class CL_CRM_PRVMA_PARTNER_CHECK_DFL are executed. These are the same checks as if no partner validation rule is assigned to a master agreement item. The default checks are described in the interface methods of interface IF_CRM_PRVMA_PARTNER_CHECK.

If you have your own partner validation rules defined or if you want to change the standard checks, you have to create an implementation for this BAdI and implement the methods of interface IF_CRM_PRVMA_PARTNER_CHECK.

Only business partners of a specific group are admissible to create subscription orders with reference to a master agreement. Then you can define a partner validation rule for this group of business partners and assign the rule to the master agreement item. When a subscription order is created with reference to this master agreement item, the assigned rule is evaluated and this BAdI is called to check whether the selected business partner belongs to that specific group.
