CRM_PS_CHNG_PROC_BRF - Define BRF Rules for Change Processes

In this Customizing activity, you define rules in the Business Rule Framework (BRF) for processing transaction items for social service plans. These BRF rules are called within the change processes that occur.
When defining your BRF rules you need to distinguish between header change processes and item change processes. For this purpose, the BRF application class 'CRM_4S_CHNG_CUST' provides the following BRF events:

Header change process
When header change processes are run, the BRF is called for
each item of a transaction. The BRF rule checks whether an item is change-relevant. If this is the case,
the item change process is executed for the respective item by means of a BRF action (implementing class 0CRM4S001).
For example, within a copy change process on header level, a copy change process is run for each item using the BRF.
Item change process
When item change processes are run, the remaining items of
a transaction are determined with regard to an item by means of search rules ('0000000001' - All Items).
The BRF is called for the selected transaction items and a BRF rule is checked to see if an item is
change-relevant. If this is the case, the item change process is run for the respective item using a BRF action (implementing class 0CRM4S001).
For example, within a termination change process on item level, a copy change process is run on item level using the BRF for each item affected by the change.
You can define the following values for a change process in the BRF:
- Change process
- Date (timestamp)
- Duration
- Partner number
Note:
In the case of outbound change processes - these involve the creation of a new SSP version - only the items for which a change process has been performed are copied into the new SSP version.
When you perform this Customizing activity, you start the Business Rule Framework with the application class 'CRM_4S_CHNG_CUST' to be used for change processes. Define the required BRF rules and assign the relevant change process to each rule.
