CRM_PS_CREATE_SOA - Define Social Applications

To define social applications (SOAs), complete the following Customizing activities:

Make the required settings in Customizing for Service:

• Define Transaction Types

Create the required social application transaction types with the leading business transaction category BUS2000280.

• Define Number Ranges

Create the number ranges for SOA transactions by choosing Number Ranges for Social Applications.

• Define Item Categories

Create the required social application item categories with the item object type BUS2000287.

• Define Request Categories

The request forms required for social applications are based on the Web request function. Create the Web request category required for a social application.

Note:Due to security requirements, the Social Services component only allows Web request forms to be processed internally by the case worker.

• Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

Define the control for copying header information of a social application (SOA) to a SSP.

• Define Copying Control for Item Categories

Define the control for copying SOA items to a SSP.

Make the required settings in the Social Services-Customizing in the sections Basic Settings and Social Application.
