CRM_PS_CREATE_SSP - Define Social Service Plans

To define social service plans (SSPs), complete the following activities in the Service Customizing:

• Define Transaction Types

Create the required social service plan transaction types with the leading business transaction category BUS2000281. You must define the Customizing header for business transaction category BUS2000281.

In the Customizing settings for the header, by selecting a decision category for each transaction type, you specify the usage for an eligibility decision or an entitlement decision, or combined decision processing (eligibility decision & entitlement decision).

• Define Number Ranges

Create the number ranges for SSP transactions by choosing Number Ranges for Social Service Plans.

• Define Item Categories

Create the required social service plan item categories with the item object type BUS2000288.

• Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

Define the control for copying header information of a SSP to a follow-up SSP.

• Define Copying Control for Item Categories

Define the control for copying previous SSP items to a follow-up SSP.

• Create Material (Transaction MM01)

Create material master data from type Service Product to be used for the required Social Services benefits. Consider the material number limitation when using the posting area framework in the billing and accounting Customizing.

Make the following required settings in the Social Services Customizing:

• Complete the activities in the Basic Settings section and Social Service Plan section.

• In the Basic Settingssection, complete the activities under Case Assignment, Eligibility Check, Item Assessment, Approval Check, and Change Processes.

• In the Social Service Plan section, complete the activities under Social Service Plan Activation.

Payment on Request
For social service plans with requestable entitlement items no specific transaction type Customizing settings are required. The manual creation of requestable items is feasible for a SSP in the WebClient UI by selecting for an entitlement item the release mode requestable. To support a rule-based creation of requestable entitlement items you must define an item proposal strategy handling items with the release mode requestable. For more information, see section IPS for Social Service Plan under Define Item Proposal Profile.
