In this IMG activity, you configure error handling in Social Services Eventing by classifying messages that occur during SSE event processing.

You can classify the customer messages or SAP messages that occur according to the following error types:

• T = temporary error

The SSE subscription, in which a temporary error occurs, is executed anew according to the defined control parameters after a delay with a maximum number of repeats. With temporary errors, it is assumed that processing is only inhibited temporarily (for example, objects are locked by other applications or users) and will become possible at a later point in time.

• E = error

The SSE subscription is terminated.

• I = irrelevant error

This kind of error is ignored and the processing of the SSE subscription is continued.

Errors that occur during SSE processing and that have not been classified are classified as error type E (= error) by default.

Identify the errors that can occur during the processing of an SSE subscription, and classify the corresponding messages for SSE error handling.
