In this Customizing activity, you define the effective date determinations required for your change processes for social service plans and social deduction plans. Effective date determination enables you to create proposal lists for change processes with predefined date changes. This means that the settings defined in the effective date determinations are the only date calculations admissible for change processes.

You define the functional features of an effective date determination as a BAdI implementation. You make the assignment to a change process in the change process settings.

The effective date determinations 'Month End' and 'Year End' with the relevant sample implementations are provided as examples in the standard system.

1. In this Customizing activity, create the required IDs for the effective date determination.
2. Go to the Customizing activity Define Effective Date Determination and create the functional features for each effective date determination as a BAdI implementation.
3. Go to the Customizing activity Make Settings for Change Processes and assign the effective date determination you wish to use to a change process under Specific Customizing.
