In this Customizing activity, you define social service plan assignment profiles (SSP assignment profiles), which are used for

Successor Processing
The SSP assignment profile provides successor processing with essential information. The core function in the SSP assignment profile is a determination strategy that searches for an existing social service plan to match a new or changed social application. If a suitable social service plan is found, the SSP assignment profile creates the transaction chain that links these two transactions. In this connection, change processing is started within successor processing. If a suitable social service plan is not found, creation mode is started within successor processing, and a new social service plan is created.

Payment on Request
If you are using the payment on request functionality you define a SSP assignment profile including a strategy to assign a new payment request to the respective decision flow. The SSP assignment profile determines one activated SSP of the decision flow which shall be assigned. Thereby the decision flow is unique identified. This functionality is executed after case assignment and before payment request item determination.

In an SSP assignment profile, you can choose between the following categories of determination strategies:

  • Social service plan based on the case
This SAP standard determination strategy looks for a social service plan using the case to which the social application or the payment request is assigned. All of the social service plans with the system statuses In Process, Approved, Activated, and In Approval are determined. An assignment is made only for a social service plan that has the status Approved and the system status Activated. An error message is issued for all of the other transactions found.
  • Customer-defined BAdI
You can implement a customer-defined determination strategy using the BAdI CRM_PS_SSPDS_BADI.
  • Business Rule Framework plus (BRFplus)
You use the following BRFplus objects to create the SSP determination strategy as a BRFplus rule:

Input
SSPDS BRFplus function with the correct signature for process step
CONTEXT_SSPDS Mandatory name of BRFplus object for eligibility determination on SSP
CRMS_PS_4S_BRFP_SSPDS_CONTXT BRFplus context (DDIC structure)

Output
RESULT_SSPDS Result object
CRMT_PS_4S_BRFP_SSPDS_RESULT BRFplus context (DDIC table) as result SSP determination

Specify the BRFplus function and application under Customizing SSP Determination Strategy in this Customizing activity.
Social Services also supports the usage of SAP NetWeaver Decision Service Management (DSM). To use DSM-based rules, you must select the checkbox Use DSM.

  1. Create an SSP assignment profile, and make the settings for the control attribute Assignment Mandatory.
  2. Select the SAP standard determination strategy SSP Determination Using Case, or, alternatively, define your own determination strategy.
  3. Assign the case assignment profile you defined here to the respective business object or transaction type in the IMG activity Define Transaction Types.

For more information about the use of the SSP assignment profile for Social Services, see Successor Processing and Payment on Request in the SAP Library.
