CRM_REB_ARCH_EXTRACT - Define Residence Times for Extracts
PERFORM Short Reference General Data in Customer MasterThis documentation is copyright by SAP AG.
In this step, you can define residence times for your rebate extracts. The residence time specifies the number of days which must pass before a rebate extract can be archived. For example, your company may decide that rebate extracts with a certain extract type should always be archived 90 days after they were last changed. The change date in the rebate extract header serves as the base date for the check.
An extended check is performed to ensure that all the rebate due lists that are linked to a rebate extract have been archived before the extract is archived.
Rebate conditions are archived along with the rebate extract.
Enter residence times for all rebate extracts to be archived.
- The archiving object BEACRMREX is used for archiving rebate extracts and rebate conditions.
- The field catalog SAP_BEA_CRMRREX and archive information structure SAP_BEA_CRMRREX are generated for archive object BEACRMRREX when the CRM Rebates Processing application is generated using the Billing Engine Framework.
- Rebate extracts of a particular extract type are not included in archiving if no residence time is maintained for that extract type. In other words, the minimum residence time is 1 day.
- You can make general settings for archiving rebate extracts in the Implementation Guide under SAP Web Application Server → Application Server → System Administration → Data Archiving → Archiving Object-Specific Customizing. Choose the archiving object BEACRMRREX.
