You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to influence the recovery of order item or contract data (for example configuration settings or technical resources) during product change processes within subscription orders like switching the selected product in a package.

The BAdI implementation consists of two methods.

• Determine the order item or contract from which data is to be recovered

• Recover additional data

This BAdI is only performed in subscription order documents.

The default implementation class only implements the determination of the order item or contract from which data shall be recovered. This is done by analysis of the order product structure and transaction history.

You can implement this BAdI to switch off the data recovery for certain cases, to use another algorithm for determination of the data recovery source and to influence the target item, for example, to recover additional data.
