CRM_RFC_R3 - Assign ERP Project Profile to RFC Destination

This activity is only relevant if you defined that the ERP transfer should be carried out online in the activity Define ERP Integration Type.

In this activity, you set the project profile from the ERP Project System (PS) that you want to be used as a default in the Marketing Planner for the transfer of marketing projects to ERP.

The project profile contains default values, e.g. for organizational data. It is used in the Project System when WBS elements are created.

1. In the relevant ERP system, create a project profile (IMG activity Create Project Profile of the Project System).
2. In the CRM system, assign the project profile to the RFC destination of the connected ERP system. When you choose an RFC destination, the F4 help for the project profiles brings up all the profiles created in that system.

Note:

If you have specified the ERP transfer via Middleware, you use the project scenarios instead of the project profiles (IMG activity Assign ERP Project Scenario to RFC Destination).
