You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) for the service ticket in the Interaction Center (IC).

A service item is required in the service ticket for contract determination and the corresponding Service Level Agreement (SLA) parameters. This item is created automatically in the background. You can use this BAdI to define which product is used to automatically create service items. Different products can be used for different profiles.

If you do not want an item to be created automatically, you can also use this BAdI to change this default behavior.

The product delivered by this Business Add-In must be contained in the master data.

There should not be any other product in the system with the same product ID.

To define which product is used to create service items, do the following:

  1. Create a product of type Service in the master data to be used for the service ticket.
  2. Use the product ID of this product as the export parameter for this BAdI.

To ensure that an item is not created automatically:

  1. Enter an initial value as the export parameter.
  2. Remove the SLA view from the UI.
This is necessary because if you do not use the default item for the service ticket, you cannot assign dates.
