CRM_SOC_JOB_RETRIEVE - Schedule Background Job for Retrieving Social Media Posts

In this Customizing activity, you can schedule a background job to retrieve the following social media post data:

• Posts

• Private messages

• Comments

You only need to schedule this background job if you use the pull approach to retrieve posts.

1. Enter a name in the Job name field and keep the default setting Job class C.
2. Choose Step.
3. Choose ABAP program.
4. In the ABAP program area, enter CRM_SOC_SMC_HARVEST_DU in the Name field.
5. Choose Start condition. This takes you to the Start Time screen.

• Choose Date/Time.

• Enter the data for the start time and date.

• Select the Periodic job checkbox.

• Choose Period values.

• Choose the desired period value.

• Choose Save.

This takes you back to the Start time screen.

• Choose Save.

This takes you back to the Define Background Job screen.

1. Choose Save.
