In this activity, you can define different processing time types that represent the business reasons for using the processing times. This type enables you to group the processing times. You assign the type to the processing times in the later Customizing.

Example
You want to control if your services are compliant with the agreements that you have made with your customers and your service teams. For this reason, you want to set up processing times to compare the actual service durations with the planned service durations defined in the service level agreements and the operational level agreements. You define the processing time types SLA and OLA.

In the standard system, the processing time types OLA and SLA are available.

Define the processing time types that cover your different business requirements.
