In this activity, you can assign smart forms to transaction types. You can use this function to create PDF attachments that give an overview about the most important data of a service request.

  • You can attach the overview PDF to a service request. To do this, you can use the Attach Overview PDF button in the work area toolbar. The system then creates a PDF and adds it to the Attachments assignment block.
  • You can attach the overview PDF to an e-mail. To do this, you can use the Send E-Mail button in the work area toolbar. In the work area toolbar of the e-mail, you can attach the PDF with the Attach Overview PDF button to the e-mail.

In the standard system, smart form SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW is assigned to the standard transaction types for Service Request Management.

  1. If required, create a customer-specific smart form. To do this, open transaction SMARTFORMS. Copy smart form SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW to your namespace. Adjust it to your requirements.
  2. Open the Customizing activity. Enter all transaction types in which you want to make the overview PDF available.
  3. Assign the SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW smart form or your customer-specific smart form.
