CRM_SRQM_PRINT_PREV - Set Up Printouts

In this activity, you can define customer-specific printouts of the service request. For example, you can use this function for the following purposes:

  • Define a printout for a handover to another service team
  • Define a printout for the customer
  • With button Print Preview of the work area toolbar, you can print a PDF document that contains the most important details of a service request. For example, it contains the header data, notes and checklist items.
  • The document is created withh smart form SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW.
  • For the creation of customer-specific buttons, use action IT_PRINT in action profile IT_INCIDENT_MANAGEMENT as example.

To create a customer-specific print preview, proceed as follows:

  1. In transaction SMARTFORMS, copy smart form SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW to your namespace. Adjust it to your requirements.
  2. To provide this smart form by a button in the work area toolbar, proceed as follows:
    1. Open Customizing activity Define Action Profiles and Actions.
    2. Open the action profile that you use for the required transaction type.
    3. Add a new action. Copy the content of action IT_PRINT to your action and replace the form name SQRM_PRINT_PREVIEW with the name of your customer-specific smart form.
