CRM_TEXT_KEYW - Define Keywords

In this IMG activity, you can define keywords that you can use to classify texts. By editing texts, you can assign these keywords to the texts.

Note

This function is available for the following business transaction categories:

• Service Master Request (BUS2000223)

• Service Master Request (BUS2000224)

This function can be helpful in all business processes that transport the main information for the processing of tasks in texts. By adding keywords, in addition to classifying of texts with the text type, an additional function for classifying texts is available. In assignment block GSTEXT, you can add, change and filter long lists of text by the keyword.

You can define keywords for every combination of text object and text determination procedure. This enables you to use the same keywords for different text types. To simplify the Customizing, you group the keywords and assign these groups to the different combinations of text object and text determination procedure.

Note

For technical reasons, you can assign only up to eight keywords to a text. Therefore, you should keep the number of keywords to a minimum.

1. In the Keywords folder, define all keywords that you want to use.
2. In the Keyword Groups and Keyword Assignment folders, define sets of keywords.
3. In Text Objects folder, list all text objects for which you want to make the keywords available.
4. In the Keyword Group Assignment folder, assign the keyword groups to the text determination procedures.
